Our friends Dustin and Sara hosted a game night. It was the same day John and I had air race tickets so we headed over for the fun and games after we got our “plane fix”. It was a lot of fun hangingout with everyone! We ate a little grub and played a little Balderdash! Here are some pics!
The Reno Air Races were this weekend and we had some free tickets from John’s dad. Saturday John and his dad went and Sunday John and I got to go. We had great seats dead center of the show and free pit passes! This event is way bigger than I ever imagined! The best part was watching the Blue Angels perform! Here are some pics from the races!
My sister and her boyfriend Jason flew up for the weekend to see the Great Balloon Race…it was a lot of fun! The weekend started out terrible with their flight being delayed leaving from LAX. Their flight was 7:20pm and didn’t leave till 10:40! They got to Reno at midnight…we all slept for three hours and got up at 4:15am to make it to the Glow Show for the balloons! It was an early day but it was so much fun! After enjoying a morning of balloons and breakfast we took an afternoon nap. We then headed downtown to enjoy a little nightlife…martini bar, dueling pianos, and flaming punch! John and I enjoyed having Kelley and Jason visit and we can’t wait for them to come again for some fun in the snow this winter!! Here are some pics of their visit! Enjoy!
We had a very busy but fun Labor day weekend!! We went to the Rib Cook-off two different days, to a Reno Aces baseball game, walked around the village a Squaw and watched fireworks on Lake Tahoe!!! My parents and my aunt Tanya and uncle Tim were in town for all the fun stuff! It was great to spend a few days with my family…I miss having them close by!!!
