Last Sunday we got together with some friends to celebrate Kiara’s 30th bday. She had no clue that there were 18 of us waiting for her at the restaurant when she got there…she was surprised! We all met up at Ichiban, a Japanese/Teppanyaki Style restaurant inside Harrah’s casino. It was a good time. Here are some pics!
Northern Nevada has some CRAZY weather! Two days ago it was in the 80′s and today it was 34 and snowing!! They say next week it will be back up in the 70′s. Checkout the snow today! It’s only the beginning of October!!!

Last Sunday I met up with several girls from work to walk “The Race for the Cure” at UNR. It was an amazing event. There were so many wonderful people there showing their support for this cause! It was a great morning. Paula (a friend from work) made this video. We did the walk in celebration of her mother Lee Anne who has been cancer free for 4 months! Turn up the volume!
Last Saturday John and I went with our friends Paul and Robin to the Reno Events Center where we got to see the So You Think You Can Dance tour!! It was sooooo much fun!! I can’t wait till next season!!
A few weeks back Sports Authority had their big winter sale and John took me shopping for new ski “stuff”! I can’t wait for the snow to come so I can try out my new gear! I got new ski boots and new skis…check them out!! They’re pretty!!
