My cousin Christi and her boyfriend Scott came up to visit us last weekend to hangout and hit the slopes. We all had a blast! We headed to Northstar for two days for boarding and skiing and even visited Old Town Historic Truckee to have breakfast at the wonderful “Squeeze In”. We also went out for a couple of great dinners with friends and hit up a dueling piano bar! Fun was had by all!!! Checkout the pics!
Garth Brooks was in So. Cali at the end of January and my mom, sister, and I got to go see him! I flew down for a short weekend to see the concert and visit family. The concert was on Saturday and it was awesome! Trisa Yearwood (his wife/country signer) came out on stage for a couple songs too! Sunday my mom had the whole family over to visit since I haven’t seen some of them since the wedding back in July! It was nice to talk and catch up with everyone. I plan to visit So. We had Mason and Mckenna over for a slumber party a few weekends ago. They had a blast with the puppies…they didn’t want to go home! Boy did they keep me on my toes! Mason 7, and Mckenna 5 had me going non-stop for sure! We watched Mary Poppins, colored, played candy land, and the xbox 360 (Mason kicked my butt at table tennis!). And of course they tired the dogs out too! I think I slept the rest of the day after I took them home! HA! Here are a few pics of the girls!
After we got dumped on with snow we took the jeep up Peavine to do a little off roading! John’s friend Robert went with us in his jeep too! Checkout the pics!
In January we got hit with several storms…we got dumped on with the snow! Getting use to this cold weather and all this snow has been quite an adjustment. Everyone keeps telling me its so unusal how much snow we are getting down here in Sparks…I’m not so sure I believe them! heehee I’ve actually tried to help John out by shoveling the driveway once or twice and boy was that an experience! I was thinking to myself…”Am I really shoveling my driveway….WEIRD!” Crazy Nevada weather! Here are some pics of our house and street with all that snow!
