We hosted a New Year’s Eve potluck! John brought home “Rock Band” for our xbox 360 so the crew rocked in the new year till 2:45am!!! Here are a few pics of us crazy kids ringing in 2008!
We stayed in Sparks for holiday and my parents and sister we able to drive up to spend it with us and our new pups! They arrived the same day as Lola, right before Christmas and stayed a week with us! It was really great to have family here and spend our “First Christmas” together in our new home.
On Christmas Eve we had my family, John’s parents and G-ma over for a nice holiday dinner! It was our first “dinner party” in our new home…it was great! Christmas day we all headed over to John’s sisters in Reno and had another fabulous holiday meal with all the Owen’s, Barsodi’s and Pelton’s in attendance!
At the end of the week we made it out to Northstar to checkout the outdoor ice rink and village! It was a wonderful holiday week with family and even a little snow! Checkout the pics!
Bella got a sister for Christmas! On December 23, 2007 we picked up Lola at the Reno/Tahoe airport! She flew all by her lonesome as “cargo” just like Bella a few short months ago. Lola is a tiny 2lb black and tan dapple mini doxie! She is full of spunk and attitude! She loves playing with her big sister Bella! Although she is only 2lbs, Lola loves to eat! She gobbles up her food and then tries to steal Bellas…sometimes she succeeds! If we don’t catch her she blows up like a fat toad! Silly thing loves her puppy kibble!
Bella loves her new little sis too! They case eachother around the kitchen and play tug-a-war with the toys. Bella now weighs 8.4lbs so she likes to throw her weight around with the little one! (So not fair!) Here are some new pics of the Barsodi baby girls!
