This weekend was The Great Reno Hot Air Balloon Race! The event started Thursday morning and continued thru the weekend to Sunday evening. There were lots of events taking place…checkout the website for more info. We went Saturday morning, got up at 4am and headed to the park for the “Glow Show” and “Dawn Patrol”! It was very cool! We stayed till about 8am to see all 100 balloons get off the ground..checkout the beautiful pictures!!
This past week the Rib Cook off was going on in Downtown Sparks. The best from all over the country come to compete in this six day event. Our favorite this year, Famous Dave’s Ribs won both the people’s choice and the professional judging. We headed down on opening night and met up with our family early in the evening and then with our friends later on. Check out the pics.
Bella has been keeping us very busy in her first week with us! She loves gaming with John and helping me grade papers (ya she’s lots of help as you can imagine!) She also had her first bath today! Potty training hasn’t been too much fun but she is a blast and we love her! Checkout some new pics at the link below!
